By the grace of Allah, a total of 70 houses have been built in multiple remote villages in Malawi. May Allah accept all of your donations and duaa, which helped us conduct such life-changing projects for the most needy. Provided many homes food supplies of 11 items per home incl. rice, flour, sugar, salt, etc. (A yearly supply of all household essential foods).
Provided the above food package and distributed your zakat to many widows/elderly and the disabled.
3 homes fully renovated for widows without the means – were living in run down mud huts prior to the renovation.
As always, all th above charity work was done in person by our team of volunteers whist there on the ground.
The main objectives of Children of Adam Appeal’s Widow/Family Aid project are to:
All widows are qualified through a stringent process and are physically visited and circumstances reviewed by our volunteers/trustees in person for each widow and orphan, followed by investigations done at neighbourhoods and schools to ensure that all information about the widows and orphans is correct.
In addition to an allowance, widows may also be provided support through some Children of Adam Appeal’s other projects depending on their location and age of orphan. For example:
